The evangelical churches & feminism

There is a clear, well-written post on the influence of feminism on the American evangelical churches here. A quick, worthwhile read.

    1. I have little experience with Evangelical Christianity. It seems to me that a potential strength of it is the emphasis on fathers taking a leadership role within the family (something that isn't emphasised much in Catholic culture). What seems to pain writers like Dalrock is that there is only lip service paid to this role within the modern
      Evangelical churches - that in reality the churches have capitulated to feminist assumptions about sex roles.

    2. The linked article makes a good point about the excessive emotionalism of Evangelical Christianity. That might well be part of the reason for the apparent shallowness of the faith.
