Women against feminism hits tumblr

Here's some good news. A tumblr site called Women against Feminism has taken off and is clearly rankling the feminist establishment. The site shows pictures of women holding up signs explaining why they are against feminism. The reasons vary. Some of the women don't want men to be treated as the enemy; others feel that as stay at home mothers they aren't supported by feminists; some don't like the vilification of all men as potential rapists; some believe that feminism is pushing toward female supremacy rather than equality; and some don't like feminist attacks on femininity.

Here's a small sample to give you an idea of what's at the site (you can click on the photos to read the text more clearly):

  1. A lot of ordinary young women actually see feminism as being for man-hating, bra-burning lesbians with hairy armpits. That's actually how it is perceived by a good proportion of young women.

  3. The challenge for any equality message is individuals that represent it poorly. People who want to speak out on equality need to do so without attacking others. This is a useful article on how to do this.

  4. The feminist cult has jumped the dongle. Sooner or later this bloodsucking racket was going to get so old not even the word's top plastic surgeon could help keep up appearance. This cartel of dissumulatiing con artists has a lot to answer for and there is a pressing need for a major defeminazification sweep of every institution that benefits from even a penny of taxes.

  5. Concerning the type of posting here on OZ con, I think it's pertinent to mention that a lot of the complaints are directed toward a feminist restriction on what these women see as their individual freedoms.

eg, some obviously see stay at home motherhood as just one choice of many afforded to individuals as they 'self-create', and not as an inherently good thing in itself.

  6. Attractive young women move the pop culture. The feminists know they have a real problem here.

  7. Judging by the chatter in response to this, it appears that some feminists are having trouble understanding that 'No' means 'No'. Which is perversely funny
