Everyone wants to make money over the rest however I would say there is more sense of community there than Australia. The US - rioting, raping pillaging etc. This is colourful. in homogenous Japan, where the devastation is much worse, there is patience and stoicism. It proves the lie to the 'unity in diversity' meme. there is only unity in unity.Kurtnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-86405873876912022362011-03-16T18:29:28.423+11:002011-03-16T18:29:28.423+11:00"Not easy."

A ghetto war zone is a bad place for commerce and culture. NYC would not be the world city if it was ravaged by urban warfare between criminal factions and ethnic groups. People couldn't do business there, and nobody would want to visit. Not sure what the hell Tokyo is doing on his list of "world cities." It consists almost entirely of Japanese people and is probably the safest and most orderly major city in the world. A very square place by his standards. London and Paris will become ghetto war zones in no time (I mean, more than they already are), so they're definitely on their way to becoming "world cities."

I'm a year older than Ryan Heath when he wrote his book, and I sure as shit have no interest in living in "colourful" places.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-7974475160400164642011-03-15T16:49:48.743+11:002011-03-15T16:49:48.743+11:00Finally, the correct usage of 'begs the questi...Finally, the correct usage of 'begs the question'!vandiemonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-23021436085476778432011-03-15T10:42:20.828+11:002011-03-15T10:42:20.828+11:00James said,

It seems to be partly political (she identifies as a leftist and seems to identify white men as the "cosmic enemy" - the ones holding back progress to perfect equality etc) and partly personal (her hippy white parents didn't take steady jobs and subjected her to an impoverished childhood).

She's an odd one to be giving relationships advice. She seems to have spent her fertile years working for a big financial company, before deciding at around age 40 that she would rather be doing other things. So she is in her 40s, childless and living with a cat (though apparently there's a boyfriend there somewhere).Mark Richardsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15961688379656119701noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-33357842223084521252011-03-13T11:58:15.060+11:002011-03-13T11:58:15.060+11:00What these elites mean by "world city" i...What these elites mean by "world city" is "anybody who doesn't look like me". Brown people have the right to their own countries and cultures, whites do not. I'm writing off London. It will be controlled by Muslims in 10 years, the entire UK in 20. With that go the UK's nukes into Islamic hands. The rest of Europe isn't far behind. Europe will have been conquered without firing a shot.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-22209597640740066262011-03-13T11:33:46.050+11:002011-03-13T11:33:46.050+11:00Ahh...I haven't read your latest post yet!
