Schools, media, entertainment industry, corporations - the entire Establishment tells them the myth that women are underpaid, but here they are asking questions and thinking for themselves. This is what was remarkable about the Brexit vote and the Trump election too. Establishment propaganda is increasingly impotent. It is pervasive, but impotent. It reminds me of what Eastern European friends would tell me about Soviet propaganda - people learnt to think around it (and through it) and it ceased to have impact.
