I especially loved her rendition of "The Lord's Prayer." It's on YouTube, but I don't have the URL at the moment.A Certain Readernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-51809595379878859362013-01-21T15:26:31.598+11:002013-01-21T15:26:31.598+11:00Beautiful, I'm watching a lot of her videos no...Beautiful, I'm watching a lot of her videos now.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17049148375342982340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-45345757216949150342013-01-20T21:50:51.292+11:002013-01-20T21:50:51.292+11:00Hopefully she doesn't end up like Charlotte Ch...Hopefully she doesn't end up like Charlotte Church, Katy Perry, the Simpson sisters, et cetera ad nauseam...ivvenalisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-79324698910104116162013-01-20T19:00:22.929+11:002013-01-20T19:00:22.929+11:00Anonymous said...

That doesn't mean she'll be famous.<br /><br />If Celtic Woman proved one thing, it's that there's an endless supply of presentable, seemingly well-behaved white women who can sing like nobody's business. You can ring them up like pizza if you've got an act that makes good use of them, because they generally don't have good jobs from their singing, fiddle-playing and so on, even though white audience are and will remain favorably inclined to that sort of talent.<br /><br />Between the audience and the act (<i>falls the shadow</i>) stands the malign culture of modern mass entertainment.<br /><br />I hope that talent like that has a great future, and at the audiences that appreciate it also have a great future.Daybreakernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-10087498930849705922013-01-19T12:29:00.951+11:002013-01-19T12:29:00.951+11:00Hopefully resists or is protected from despoilment...Hopefully resists or is protected from despoilment by the tribal types who specialise (gleefully) in corruption of those of us who shine most resplendently.
