Everything is al...As a former Protestant, I concur. Everything is always personalized and individualized. Anything religious that mightve been real for our forefathers is symbolic and metaphoric. Church Community is the bridge by which we share with one another our own personalized faiths and individual relationships with Christ. Doctrines are never universally binding because there's always a denomination tailored to your perspective (if not, start one). Christianity is whatever the individual wants it to be. God wants everyone to do whatever they want to do. Which means that God has in effect been replaced by human desires. <br /><br />What you end up with is just another variety of liberal atheism. <br /><br />I'm not sure it is possible for Protestantism to end in any other way. It must lead inevitably to atheism. I can't see how "pastors" like this woman can be considered as anything other than atheists.
