I would rather have O'Drama than the PM[S] you guys have for a leader, and that is saying something.'Reality' Doughttp://realitydoug.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-72187585680579799502007-01-16T22:18:00.000+11:002007-01-16T22:18:00.000+11:00nilk/leeianne, thanks for the comment. In my own social set, most of the women have chosen to dedicate themselves to motherhood.

I also find it interesting that you're thinking about what is important in the long-term both for your daughter and society.

It seems to me that in the 1980s and 90s, young women were encouraged to think more selfishly than this; that it was enough to assert something as being "what women want" to justify demanding it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6832901.post-81521440140245584642007-01-15T22:09:00.000+11:002007-01-15T22:09:00.000+11:00Loving your work so far, Mark R :)

I make mistakes, but since I prefer to take the long view, so far I've not made too many.

It is about ensuring that she can grow up to be a self-confident, successful and functioning human being. Capable of forming lasting relationships with people - especially men.

The Feminists worship the individual at the cost of the society. They either ignore the cost or simply cannot imagine it.

I believe that while the 2nd wave of feminism in the 60s had nice ideas, they were quickly subverted by the radicals, and it's all been downhill ever since.

Since I'm about the same age as you are, I pretty much agree with everything you're saying so far.

:)
cheersNilkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13872495050796257177noreply@blogger.com
