I'm going to start posting again after a very long absence. I'm not sure yet if I'll remain with this site or set up something new, but I'll be here for a while at least. I won't have as much time as before for regular updates, but I'll do what I can. I'd like to thank Mark Moncrieff for having kept the banner of Australian Traditionalism flying at his site
Upon Hope and for having kept the Melbourne Traditionalists group active in my absence.
Very glad to hear it.
ReplyDeleteWelcome, back. I don't know if you remember me but I commented under the moniker Elizabeth Smith back in 2012 and the like.
ReplyDeleteThank you and, yes, I do remember. Hope you've been well.
DeleteWelcome back!
ReplyDeleteThanks Papabear.
DeleteFantastic to see you back Mr. Richardson. I've always enjoyed reading your blog. I look forward to more posts from you in the future!
ReplyDeleteThank you Steven.
DeleteGood to see you back!
ReplyDeleteThank you dfordoom.
DeleteWelcome back, but if you take a break from blogging in the future, dont conceal your blog from readers. Your articles are important references and information sources.
ReplyDeleteValkea, I'm glad you consider the site an important reference source, but I had little choice but to close it for a period of time.
DeleteHere I thought your blog was lost forever. There was so much good stuff on here, especially your writing on liberal autonomy (you show how the right liberal idea that left liberals are 'collectivists' and 'anti-individual' is wrong). It felt a terrible loss.
ReplyDeleteFor what seemed like years I'd occasionally try your blog again always to find it locked. Eventually I gave it up for gone. Then one day I absentmindedly opened an old bookmark.
I remember thinking 'oh, right, there's no Oz Conservative any more' and then the page loaded. I thought this was some kind of mistake on Google's part.
So it's great to see you back and posting. I echo what Valkea said, about your blog being an important reference. You were always among the best writers in the trado/reactosphere, and had a great impact on me. Sorry you had to close it, and glad to have you back.
Kastle, thank you!
DeleteGlad you're back. Your writing is a much-needed resource for traditionalists. I can finally point people to your e-booklet again.
ReplyDeleteThanks, and you've reminded me that I really have to set about finishing that e-booklet now.
DeleteI enjoyed reading back through your material and wondered if you would return. Good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back.
