Via View from the Right we learn that a number of male soldiers in the U.S. are being required to put on empathy breasts and bellies to simulate being pregnant. Supposedly this is going to help them to train pregnant soldiers better.
I hardly know what to say. I suppose it's the inevitable outcome of the liberal principle that sex distinctions should be made not to matter in society. That leads to calls for women to participate in the armed services in an equal capacity to men. Which then leads to the army being revamped to fit in women better. Which then leads to the sorry spectacle of marines wearing sympathy breasts and pregnancy bellies.
Where will it end? In theory what will happen is that the military will feminise itself in order to become more female friendly, until a tipping point is reached at which young masculine men lose interest and look elsewhere to express their energies. I'm not sure if that will happen with the military - but if things like the empathy breasts and bellies are the way of the future, then it's certainly possible.
I serious want to vomit after this
ReplyDeleteDo they even send pregnant women into the field?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the point of this...
What the heck! Males with boobs and females with dildo's, what is to become of our fighting forces... we certainly have degenerated into an immoral society.
ReplyDeleteThis would be an opportunity for real army men to show that they can sport all the wobbly bits that women wear and still perform better than women.
ReplyDeleteDo they even send pregnant women into the field?
ReplyDeleteOf course. It would be sexist and misogynistic not to. I hope you're not suggesting that female pregnant soldiers can't fight just as well as male soldiers.
It doesn't get more laughable than that.
ReplyDeleteThe future historians will laugh at our folly.
You know a society is decadent when the more ridiculous things are praised and accepted

ReplyDeleteIndeed. The whole ordeal of the Muslim soldier bombing his comrades in Forth Worth and the military bending back to defend this monstrous diversity ("It would have been worse if we lost our diversity") is one such tipping point.
In its own tragic/comedic way, this story underlines a fact that is just beginning to dawn on Americans: at this point, our military functions more like a giant political/economic game than like a force designed to defend the country.
ReplyDeleteNo country has had the capacity or desire to invade the US mainland in the past 100 years. This means our army is left with one primary function: fighting political battles only tangentially related to our interests, overseas.
With about 700 billion in spending per year (about half the world's military spending) and pretty much nothing of necessity to do, it's no wonder that our military has turned into a giant exercise in political correctness.

ReplyDeleteDon't go to that "manual" link btw its a computer glitch.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lift from a military manual:
ReplyDelete"The enemy seek to wear down friendly forces through casualty rates, campaign duration, financial costs and sustained adverse global media coverage. This means that how forces operate (maintaining the moral high ground) is as important as winning the isolated battles...
The 'dominant narrative' is the fundamental story or perception that has been (or is to be) established as valid in the minds of members of one or more target populations... Tactical actions and 'information' actions must align with the dominant narrative. The people (civilians) can choose to aid and shelter enemies or not. They must come to believe not only in our superior fighting power, but also in our morals, ethics and goals, so they choose not to shelter the enemy."
The "moral high ground" these days seems to be synonymous with the idea of being nice, touchy feely, empathetic etc. So the idea that obtaining the moral high ground should be seen as a matter of military necessity can help explain the idiotic focus and promotion of stupid left wing agendas within the military, and the endless concern on how soldiers behave in their private time out of it.
Of course its folly, as being "nice", or weak of this caliber, does not inspire confidence from anybody.
And they wonder why the West is in decline. power and capital are shifting rapidly to the East. soon we won't have the money to indulge these feminist fantasies - it will just be a case of trying to make ends meet. We will pay a heavy price for indulging these people one day. The sad thing is that it's not the people who impose it on our society who will pay but future generations.
ReplyDeleteDaybreaker,
ReplyDeleteApologies, I removed your comments. It's my long experience that it's impossible to reasonably argue those issues.

ReplyDeleteExcellent point.
Where will it end?
ReplyDeleteProbably with Marines forced to wear empathy burqas.
